As it gets closer to Halloween the kids get a bit crazy. To try and bring some calmness into the classroom I have been downloading brain breaks and peaceful music from youtube like crazy! I put a playlist together on Windows Media Player and put it on loop. We listen to it during centers and seat work. They are really starting to enjoy it and even work quieter! (SUCCESS!) After the kids have been focused on a lesson for a while we do brain break and stretch break videos I've found. They LOVE these videos...one in particular. They beg me to play this one all the time! Check it out.
This last week the kids turned in their pumpkin book reports and shared them with the class. They came out pretty cute. They are now in the library on display until the end of the week. Check out some of these cuties!
